Terms of Service

Spotvise (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is a workshop booking and payment platform that enables instructors (“Users”) to create, manage, and accept bookings for their workshops, classes, and events. The Service includes a booking management dashboard, an embeddable booking widget, payment processing via Stripe, and related tools.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free account.

• Paid subscription plans are billed monthly in advance. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.
• A platform fee (percentage of each booking transaction) applies to all plans, including the Free tier. The applicable rate depends on your subscription plan.
• All payments from workshop attendees are processed by Stripe. Stripe’s own processing fees apply in addition to Spotvise’s platform fee.
• Prices are listed in euros and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT will be added based on your country of residence.
• Refunds to workshop attendees are the responsibility of the instructor. Spotvise does not refund platform fees on refunded transactions.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ written notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing cycle.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Engage in fraudulent activity, including fake bookings or payments.
• Use the Service for any activity that is illegal in the Netherlands or the EU.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Spotvise. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.
• You retain full ownership of your content (workshop descriptions, images, etc.) that you upload to the Service.
• By using the Service, you grant Spotvise a limited license to display your content as necessary to operate the platform (e.g., showing your workshop on the booking page).

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

• Spotvise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Spotvise in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for any losses caused by third-party services, including Stripe payment processing failures.

• You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
• After cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days, during which you can export it. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms of Service.
• Financial records related to transactions will be anonymized and retained for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
